The Infarct iPhone app was developed as an interactive teaching aid and quick reference guide for both health care professionals & students. The developer assumes the user has some knowledge in Electrocardiograph or ECG interpretation. Patients presenting with acute myocardial injury normally present with raised ST elevation, following diagnosis of a 12 Lead Electrocardiograph or ECG... This application is intended as a guide only and should be used in conjunction with the recorded ECG. It can quickly advise the user of the likelihood of the specific region of the myocardium effected; lateral, anterior, septal infarct etc. The Infarct iPhone app also include a handy reference guide to 12 lead ECG placement.
